Volunteer Workday

Schedule of the Day:
7:30am – 8:00am Registration and Breakfast
8:00am – 8:30am Worship, Devotion and Announcements
8:30am – Teams dismissed to jobs
(End time is flexible. Some projects will take longer than others.)

You’ll be able to pick the type of job you want to serve on when you arrive Saturday morning. There will be jobs of all skill levels. If you are a professional contractor or have never used a hammer, God can use you to bless someone’s life. We currently have several carpentry jobs (deck railing/steps repair, floor joist repair etc) Roof repair, plumbing repair, yard work, etc.  We will also have a prayer and hospitality team visiting with homeowners. So there is a way for everyone to serve.

Please register on our website so we know how many people to expect and have enough food / coffee etc. for the morning.

516 Project is a Christian based 501c3 non-profit construction ministry based in Fredericksburg, Va. Our ministry shares the love of Jesus with those in need. Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Our mission is to work with individuals, churches and businesses to impact our community by glorifying God through service. Your volunteer time gives us the opportunity to share the love of Jesus and help homeowners in need of home repairs that are unable to afford or have physical barrier to completing the repairs on their own.
