Spring May 2019

WOW!! The spring workday was INCREDIBLE!

The love of Jesus was definitely shining brightly through each of our volunteers as they served. I think the heat that day helped to add a special glow…or maybe that was just profuse sweating!?

I’m thrilled to report that we worked for 9 families and had a total of 307 volunteer hours! That’s a dollar value of $7,579.83 in donated labor. OUTSTANDING.

I have already received a couple notes and calls from families that were beside themselves with joy and thanksgiving that we were willing to come serve them and love on them. The other night when the storm came through and poured rain, Ms. Susan and Mr. Sparks were VERY thankful they didn’t have to worry about setting up buckets around their homes.

We’ll have updates coming soon of the next ways you can volunteer. We are getting ready to start a bathroom remodel in Stafford for a family with a teenage son fighting cancer. We also have our mowing team that is serving weekly helping folks keep their yards in shape. Can’t wait to serve with you.

Remember to text 516project (all one word) to 55222 for updates. Also make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Thank you and God Bless!
James Roberson
