Flood Response: Canton, NC

We are excited to partner with God’s Pit Crew Immediate Disaster Response team to deploy to Canton, NC.
This area has been affected by massive flooding caused by heavy rains from Tropical Storm Fred. We will be deploying to muck out homes, move debris, and provide mold remediation for families that had their homes flooded. By combining our resources we will be able to make a larger impact and bless more families.
The current plan is to have teams serving the area from August 22 through September 4, 2021.
David Haley will be leading the efforts in Canton. You can reach out to David directly for details at (512) 560-9560. Or email James Roberson at JamesR(at)516Project.org
Lodging is available at a local church. You’ll need to bring a cot or air mattress.
If you are able to join us for the full two weeks, or any part of that time, please let us know and we can get you more details.
Due to the nature of this work, volunteers must be 18 or older.
