Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

516 Project, Inc is a Christian based 501c3 non-profit construction ministry based in Fredericksburg, Va. Founded in 2016. Our ministry shares the love of Jesus with families when disaster strikes. Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” At times when people are feeling overwhelmed or defeated by their circumstances we want to be the light in the darkness helping them out of that place.

516 Project Ministry consists of 2 divisions:

Mission FXBG: our mission right here in the Fredericksburg region is to help homeowners in need of home repairs that are unable to afford or have physical barrier to completing the repairs on their own. Through partnership with area churches,  localities and businesses we are able to have our volunteers help these residents by fixing leaky roofs, repairing damaged floors, fixing plumbing, painting, building handicap ramps, yard clean up, house cleaning and so much more.

Disaster Response: Our second focus is disaster relief response in the mid-atlantic region. We are currently working on raising funds to outfit a disaster response unit that will have chainsaws, roof tarping supplies, basic hand tools and basic supplies residents often need after a disaster such as a tornado, flood or hurricane.

So Sorry...

Due to overwhelming response this year, we need to temporarily pause accepting applications for assistance. We are working diligently to review, assess and respond to the applications we have received. It is our goal that this temporary pause be as short as possible but for now, we will not be accepting new applications.

Please check back with us on soon. Thank you for your understanding.
