516 Project is Bringing Hope to Griffin, Georgia – Tornado Response

516 Project – Disaster Response Team will be building access to hope in Griffin, Ga.

On Thursday  January 12th a devastating and deadly storm system ripped through the southeast United States. Many communities were effected by tornadoes, wind and massive damage. We are honored to be loading up and headed to serve the people of Griffin, Georgia.

“This past Thursday, the Southeast faced violent and deadly tornadoes causing massive destruction,” said James Roberson, of 516 Project. “We know many have faced heavy loss due to these storms. We are honored for the opportunity to serve these families! Our teams will help them pick up the pieces of their lives, and build access to HOPE. Please pray for the families effected and our 516 Project Disaster Response Teams as they serve in Jesus’ name.”

We’d love to have you join 516 Project – Disaster Response Team as we serve in Georgia. We will be working on debris removal, tree clean up, roof tarping, etc. Our first meal will be dinner on Tuesday the 17th last meal as a team will be breakfast on Monday morning the 23rd. Travel days will be Tuesday the 17th and Monday the 23rd. Check in will begin at 6pm Tuesday January 17th. Please do not arrive at the host church prior.
