November 11th, 2017 Workday

On November 11, 2017 we had an amazing time serving our community. A huge thanks to Spotswood Baptist Church for being our host church, and Pastor Rob Maddox for sharing a devotional with our teams at our morning meeting. Even with frigid temperatures, we had 38 volunteers serving at 8 different homes in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania and Stafford. Saturday we had teams working till after dark and even had 4 people come back out Sunday after church and work till 7:30pm finalizing the handicap ramp build.

We are so incredibly blessed by these wonderful volunteers that give of their time and efforts to love and serve our neighbors. Thanks to these volunteers:

– a family in Spotsylvania now has a new roof on their home

– An elderly couple in Spotsylvania now has a safe handicap ramp

– 6 widows and families have cleaned and maintained yards

In addition to our amazing volunteers, this was made possible by some terrific local sponsors.
