Intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of oneself or others. The Apostle Paul’s exhotation to Timothy specified that intercession prayers should be made for all people.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. – 1 Timothy 2:1-2
We are setting up an official 516 Project Prayer Team! This team will be given a list of prayer requests each week that may include families we are serving, volunteers, ministry needs etc. We ask that each day you spend time lifting these items in prayer either individually or altogether. If one of your gifts is intercessory prayer, we’d love to have you as part of this team.
As we are just beginning this team officially, we are going to limit it to 6 people..but I know we will grow that quickly as we get our process smoothed out.
